The biggest attraction is, of course, the famous UNESCO-listed Salt Mine, which hosts over a million visitors every year. Underground corridors, chambers and chapels carved in salt delight not only with their beauty, but also with their uniqueness.

In addition to the mine, Wieliczka offers many other tourist attractions. It is worth visiting the Saltworks Castle, which is the seat of the Krakow Saltworks Museum, and charming churches, such as the classicist church of St. Clement. The city also has numerous parks and green spaces, perfect for relaxing after an intense sightseeing.

Thanks to its location, only 13 km from Krakow, Wieliczka is an excellent starting point for discovering the charms of Małopolska. Many hotels and guesthouses provide comfortable accommodation, and the local cuisine delights gourmets with regional specialties.
