Chęciny is a picturesque town located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, making it an excellent destination for tourists wishing to explore the charms of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. Located just 15 kilometers from Kielce, the town delights not only with its rich history but also with its beautiful landscapes.

Chęciny’s biggest attraction is the ruins of the royal castle, which date back to the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. Once a powerful stronghold, the castle now attracts history and architecture enthusiasts. Also worth visiting is the Raj Cave, known for its unusual dripstone formations and one of the most valuable karst sites in Poland.

The town is the starting point for numerous hiking trails, including the red trail leading to Kielce and the blue trail to Łagów. For those who prefer active recreation, Chęciny offers youth hostels and agritourism farms in the area, offering comfortable accommodations.
