In Iwaniska, it is well worth visiting the neo-Gothic parish church of St Catherine, which was built on the site of an earlier church. The town is also known for its war cemetery and old cemeteries, which serve as a reminder of the region’s turbulent history.

For lovers of active holidays, Iwaniska is an excellent base for hiking in the surrounding mountains. In nearby Ujazd, the ruins of Krzyżtopór Castle provide an additional attraction.
