Wąchock is a picturesque town located in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, enchanting tourists with both its rich history and natural beauty. Known as the seat of the Cistercians, the town boasts numerous historical monuments, including a 12th-century church and monastery complex, a unique example of Romanesque architecture in Poland.

Wąchock is also an excellent base for active recreation. Numerous hiking trails run through the town, including the blue E. Wołoszyn Trail, which leads to picturesque Cedzyna. Additionally, the Wąchock Reservoir opened in 2008, attracting water sports enthusiasts and those who enjoy relaxing by the water.
