Leśnica is a picturesque town in Upper Silesia, situated on the south-eastern slope of St. Anne’s Mountain. Its history dates back to 1217, making it one of the oldest settlements in the region. Today, Leśnica, with a population of 2,546, attracts tourists with its unique atmosphere, historic sites and beautiful landscapes.
Among the tourist attractions, the 18th-century Holy Trinity Church is particularly worth mentioning, as it captivates visitors with its architecture and history. History buffs can visit the mass grave of the Silesian Insurgents, as well as the Jewish cemetery, which serve as reminders of the town’s rich past. Leśnica is also an excellent place for walks and active leisure, with numerous hiking trails in the surrounding area.
