Śnieżka, the highest peak in the Karkonosze and Sudetes Mountains, is a popular tourist destination in both Poland and the Czech Republic. At 1,603.30 meters above sea level, it towers over the Jelenia Góra Valley, offering spectacular views that, under favorable conditions, can reach as far as 200 kilometers. The peak’s location on the Polish-Czech border makes it easily accessible from both sides, and its surrounding areas are protected within the Karkonosze National Park and the Krkonoše National Park.

Several hiking trails lead to Śnieżka, including the Polish-Czech Friendship Road, which connects the two countries. Also worth visiting is the Chapel of St. Lawrence at the summit, which has attracted pilgrims and tourists since the 17th century. Śnieżka is also known for its dynamic weather conditions, making it a fascinating destination for nature lovers and mountain hikers.

Thanks to its rich history and natural beauty, Śnieżka remains one of the most important tourist attractions in the region, attracting crowds of tourists from all over Europe every year.
