Barania Góra is a picturesque 1,215-meter peak located in the southeastern part of the Silesian Beskids. It is the second highest peak in this range, attracting tourists with its unique nature and extensive hiking trails. The mountain’s western slopes are the source of two Vistula streams, making this area particularly valuable for its natural beauty.

On Barania Góra, there’s a public observation tower offering panoramic views of mountains from three countries: Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. The views include the Silesian Beskids, the Tatra Mountains, and the Little Fatra Mountains. It’s worth noting that the tower was closed until April 2024 for renovations, but reopened in September of the same year.

For hiking enthusiasts, there are numerous hiking trails leading to places like Skrzyczne and Malinowska Skała. In the Przysłop clearing below Barania Góra, there’s a PTTK shelter, a perfect place to relax after hiking. Barania Góra is an ideal destination for those seeking contact with nature and beautiful views.
