The Owl Mountains are a picturesque mountain range located in the Central Sudetes, in southwestern Poland, which attracts tourists with its landscape diversity and rich history. They cover an area of approximately 200 km² and stretch for 26 km, with the highest peak – Wielka Sowa, reaching 1,015 m above sea level. There are numerous viewpoints near the peaks, offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountain ranges.

This region offers a wide range of tourist attractions, including numerous hiking and cycling trails that lead through picturesque landscapes. Among the most popular trails is a section of the Main Sudeten Trail, which delights with its enchanting views and diverse natural beauty. In the Owl Mountains, you can also discover the remains of historic mines, such as the Nazi Riese project, or visit charming summer resorts.
