This town is known for its rich trading tradition, and every Tuesday there are markets that attract locals and tourists from the area.

In Żelechów, you can admire eight buildings entered in the register of monuments, including a beautiful parish church from the eighteenth century and a charming market square, which is one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Walking around the city, it is worth paying attention to the preserved traces of the Jewish presence, which enrich the local architecture.

Thanks to the picturesque areas around, Żelechów is also an ideal place for nature lovers. In the area there are breeding ponds and green areas that are conducive to active recreation.
