Kartuzy is a picturesque town located in the heart of Kashubia, enchanting tourists with its unique charm and rich history. Located on four Kartuzy lakes: Karczemne, Klasztorne Duże, Klasztorne Małe, and Mielenko, it offers not only beautiful views but also numerous opportunities for active recreation.

The Carthusian monastery complex is worth visiting, one of the region’s most valuable monuments. Its Gothic architecture attracts history and art enthusiasts. Kartuzy is also a key point on tourist trails, including the Kartuzy Trail and the red Kashubian Trail, which lead through the picturesque Kashubian landscape.

The city has a rich tourist tradition dating back to before World War II, when it attracted crowds of tourists to the Kashubian Switzerland region. Today, Kartuzy still invites visitors to discover its culture, traditions, and beautiful landscapes, making it an ideal destination for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation.
