Żukowo is a picturesque town situated on the Radunia River, in the heart of the Kashubian Lake District, just 19 km southwest of Gdańsk. Żukowo boasts numerous historical monuments, including the 13th-century Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Baroque Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk. Nature lovers will certainly appreciate two natural monuments – oaks over 500 years old. Additionally, the town is known for Kashubian embroidery, a tradition still cultivated today, and exhibitions by local artists attract tourists and locals alike.
