The Żywiec Beskids are a picturesque mountain range within the Carpathians, situated on the border between Poland and Slovakia. They offer stunning views and a variety of hiking trails that attract lovers of mountain walking. As the second-highest mountain range in Poland, the Beskid Żywiecki is home to many well-known peaks, such as Babia Góra (1,725 m) and Pilsko (1,557 m), which are popular destinations for tourists.

The Żywiec Beskids region is well-developed for tourism. There are many signposted trails here, including sections of the Main Beskid Trail, which lead through the region’s most beautiful spots. Tourists can make use of the numerous mountain huts and shepherds’ huts, which offer accommodation and hot meals, making mountain hikes even more comfortable.

In winter, the Żywiec Beskids become a paradise for skiers, with ski resorts in Korbielów and Zawoja. The magnificent slopes and well-groomed runs attract both beginners and experienced skiers.
